Job summary

The Keller Police Department in Keller, TX is hiring a Police Officer in a full-time role. Under general direction, you will perform law enforcement and crime prevention duties to protect life and property and ensure compliance with City, State, and Federal laws.

Qualifications

TCOLE certified preferred but not required.
High School diploma or GED or equivalent.
No class B convictions within the last 10 years.
Must be 21 years of age at time of hire.
Valid driver's license and ability to obtain Texas DL within 30 days.
Must pass physical assessment and written test.
Able to pass background investigation and be of good moral character.

Responsibilities

Patrol assigned area to ensure law compliance and investigate suspicious activities.
Make arrests of individuals who violate law and/or ordinances.
Enforce City, State, and Federal laws.
Respond to calls for assistance and provide police protection.
Interact with the community to establish a positive working relationship.
Provide general public safety services during emergencies and incidents.
