Job summary

San Bernardino County is recruiting for a Community Development & Housing (CDH) Technician who will perform technical duties in support of the CDH Department. Official title: Economic and Community Development Technician.

Responsibilities include data research, report preparation, and maintaining contract/project files to aid program staff. The ideal candidate will have coursework in business or public administration and at least one year of related government regulatory experience; proficiency

Qualifications

• 30+ semester units in qualifying fields; transcripts required if no associate’s degree.
• 1 year of full-time experience interpreting, applying, and explaining governmental rules and HUD regulations.
• Degrees earned outside the U.S. must be evaluated for equivalency by a reputable credential evaluation service.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical duties in support of the CDH program.
• Research, review, and organize data; prepare reports and documents.
• Develop and maintain contract files, project files and databases; provide program support.

Skills
