Job summary
JWCH Institute, Inc. is seeking a Dentist to provide preventive and general dental care in a community health clinic in Lancaster, CA. The role involves examining patients, diagnosing conditions, and coordinating treatments in accordance with clinical protocols.
Candidates should have a dental degree, current DEA and CPR certifications, and willingness to travel between sites. Experience with diverse populations and dental software is preferred.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited dental school.
- Current DEA Certificate.
- Current CPR Certification.
- Ability to travel between sites as needed.
- Experience with diverse backgrounds.
- Experience with NextGen/EDR or Dentrix preferred.
Responsibilities
- Examines individuals requesting care, diagnoses their dental condition, prescribes and carries out appropriate dental treatment or refers for specialty consultation.
- Records patient-dentist encounters in the patient’s dental record and completes referrals and paperwork as required.
- Educates individuals regarding oral health and its relation to overall health.
- Travels as necessary to meet operational needs, may work on the Mobile Dental Unit.
- Maintains compliance with all applicable regulations and clinic policies.
