Protouch Staffing is seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join a community-based practice in Chicago, IL. The role involves performing cleanings, assessments, X-rays, fluoride and sealants, and educating patients to promote oral health.

The ideal candidate will hold an accredited Dental Hygiene degree, an active Illinois license, and CPR/BLS certification, with strong communication and teamwork skills for a collaborative setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program.
• Active Illinois Dental Hygienist license.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment.

Responsabilités

• Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and polishing.
• Conduct oral health assessments and document findings.
• Take dental X-rays and provide fluoride treatments and sealants as needed.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care.
• Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment notes.
• Ensure proper sterilization of dental instruments and equipment.
• Follow infection control, OSHA, HIPAA, and applicable state regulations.
• Collaborate with the dental team to support quality patient care.
