Responsibilities

• Assess dental condition and needs; perform charting, medical history review, and vital signs as required.
• Deliver direct patient care; perform prophylaxis, scaling/root planing, polishing, x-rays, sealants, fluoride.
• Develops and implements individualized dental care plans; provide patient education under dentist supervision.
• Provides chair-side assistance to the dentist for tests, procedures, and complex treatments.
• Take impressions for study casts; document dental history and lab results; follow up on results.
• Participate in emergency measures and patient triage for walk-ins.
• Assist in patient admission, transfer, discharge, and reception duties; assist with reports.
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
