City Market Co-Op is seeking a Cashier with strong communication and customer service skills, ideally with prior experience in customer service or retail and/or a drive to learn!

If you are interested in working for a community-owned business and playing an active role in our vibrant local food system, then we would love to hear from you! This position offers opportunities to engage with local foods and support a cooperative model across all City Market locations.

Competenze

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Six months of cash handling experience OR one year of customer service experience strongly preferred OR demonstrated willingness to learn.
• Knowledge of natural and conventional foods and the food industry helpful.]

Mansioni

• Operate cash registers.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work area.
• Interact with and help customers; assist with member applications.
• Comply with City Market procedures and practices for operations, sales, safety and security.
• May be required to perform other related duties as assigned.
