About This Opportunity

Schedule/Hours: M – S Various

This position is responsible for: Assists in facilitating and monitoring recreational activities of the Community Center; supervises and coaches sporting events, transports patrons to and from the Community Center; assists in maintaining Community Center facilities, equipment and grounds.

Key Responsibilities

• Open/Close the Community Center in compliance with established operating hours.
• Prepare and maintain a schedule of Community Center activities in an accurate and timely manner.
• Supervise patrons visiting the Community Center and participating in programs.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

• Ability to meet attendance requirements.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language.
• Ability to perform various yard work including raking, loading, and hauling grass, leaves, pine straw, dirt, etc.
• Ability to lift equipment weighing up to 25 lbs. on a regular basis; occasionally lift heavier equipment (up to 50 lbs.).
• Duties are performed by combinations of sitting, standing, and walking on a frequent change basis.
