Job summary

Home Helpers Hagerstown & Frederick is seeking compassionate Community Care Providers in Hagerstown, MD to support seniors and others in need, helping them maintain independence and dignity in the comfort of their homes.

You’ll deliver essential care and companionship, including personal care, light housekeeping, transportation, and engagement. Training is provided, with flexible scheduling and opportunities for growth within a trusted local team.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Clean driving record is required.
• Prior experience in home care is a plus; training provided.
• Access to email and a mobile device for communication.
• Commitment to confidentiality and ethical care standards.

Responsibilities

• Personal Care Assistance: Helping clients with bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility to ensure their well-being.
• Home Maintenance Support: Light housekeeping and meal preparation to create a safe, comfortable environment.
• Transportation Services: Providing reliable transportation for appointments, errands, or social activities.
• Companionship and Engagement: Offering conversation and participating in activities that enrich clients’ lives.
• Care Plan Adherence: Following individualized care plans to ensure consistent, high-quality support.
• Communication: Maintaining professional communication with families and the care team to ensure excellent client care.
