Job summary

Suncoast Center, Inc seeks a Community Based Therapist in St. Petersburg, FL to provide individual, group and family counseling within school and community settings.

You will work under a mission-driven organization that values diversity and inclusion while engaging families and school staff to improve emotional well-being. The role requires a Master’s degree and eligibility as a Registered Intern, plus experience with families and children facing significant stressors.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work, mental health, family therapy or related field.
• Must obtain/maintain Registered Intern status within 90 days of hire and at own expense.
• Understanding of school-based systems and community resources.

Responsibilities

• Provides individual, group and family counseling services.
• Delivers services aligned with program standards and mission.
• Supports parental education and family engagement activities.
• Coordinates with community resources to address child and family needs.
• Maintains documentation and risk/safety planning as required.
