ACNB Bank in Lancaster, PA is seeking a dedicated Community Banking Associate (Teller) for a full-time role at our State Road Office. You will interact with customers, process routine transactions, and help build lasting relationships within the community.

The position requires a high school diploma, strong customer service and numeric abilities, and the flexibility to perform banking duties with accuracy and care. Training and growth opportunities are available within the bank.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Customer service and cash handling experience preferred.
• Banking experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and service them using standard bank procedures.
• Accept deposits, cash checks, and handle other teller transactions.
• Balance cash drawer daily and maintain accurate records.

What We're Looking For:

• Education & Experience: High school diploma or equivalent. Previous customer service and cash handling experience in a retail store (Key Holder / Assistant Manager) or banking environment is preferred.
• Skills: Moderate reading, writing, grammar, and mathematics skills. Proficient interpersonal relations and communicative skills. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Moderate computer skills, including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to regularly lift and/or move approximately 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move approximately 50 pounds of coin.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Service: Greet and assist customers in a friendly and courteous manner using the Bank Service Excellence Standards.
• Transaction Handling: Accept deposits, cash checks, accept loan payments, sell official checks, and maintain an approved level of cash.
• Relationship Building: Ask questions and identify needs to enhance customer relationships; actively refer customers to appropriate community banking team members.
• Daily Operations: Prepare daily settlement and proof of cash transactions; balance cash drawer accurately and efficiently on a daily basis.
• Support & Compliance: Cooperate with and support adherence to all internal policies, procedures, and practices in support of risk management and overall safety and soundness.
