Job Title: Community Assistant

Job Overview
The Community Assistant (CA) plays a critical role in creating a supportive and vibrant living environment within student housing community. CAs support marketing, leasing, resident services, and community engagement, ensuring a safe and inclusive atmosphere for residents.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional service to residents and guests, promptly addressing concerns and maintaining a welcoming environment.
- Resident Support: Assist residents with inquiries and requests, serving as a knowledgeable resource and referring campus services when needed.
- Leasing & Marketing: Participate in all stages of leasing—outreach, social media, tours, fielding digital inquiries, phone calls and visits—to support community sales.
- Community Engagement: Develop and implement events and programs that foster community spirit and encourage resident involvement.
- Administrative Duties: Manage resident inquiries, maintain records, coordinate move‑ins/ move‑outs, and support community bulletin boards and newsletters.
- Safety & Security: Enforce policies, report maintenance/safety concerns, and assist in emergency response and crisis protocols.
- Team Collaboration: Work with staff, attend meetings, trainings and support Resident Directors and other team members as needed.
- Participate in the “turn” process.
- Additional responsibilities may be assigned based on community needs.
