Job summary

Homestead Companies is seeking a part-time Community Assistant at River Gate, Athens, OH 45701 to help create a positive living environment for students and residents. You will be a key contact for residents, assisting with housing policies, move-in/move-out, and daily operations at the River Park property.

You will organize community events, communicate updates, document incidents, and coordinate with management on safety and policy compliance to support a welcoming, well‑run residence.

Responsibilities

• Actively engage with residents to build a sense of community.
• Organize and facilitate community-building activities, events, and programs to enhance the residential experience.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for residents, addressing inquiries, concerns, and providing information about housing policies and procedures.
• Contribute to the development and distribution of communication materials, newsletters, and notices.
• Report and document any incidents, ensuring compliance with policies.
• Assist with the move-in and move-out processes for residents.
• Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date resident records and files in Entrata.
• Monitor and report any safety or security concerns on property to management.
• Attend regular meetings and training sessions to stay informed about updates and changes in policies and procedures.
