Liberty University, Inc. is seeking a part-time Graduate Student Assistant to support LU ONE communications. The role involves creating and publishing digital content, producing video and graphics, and guiding a CSER student team to meet department deadlines.
Ideal candidates will have experience in social media, Capcut/Canva tools, and a commitment of 18–20 hours per week with some weekends or evenings required. This is an on-site position at Liberty University.
In this position, you will be essential in supporting various functions within the department. This position will allow you to gain practical experience, develop professional skills, and contribute to the university community while balancing your academic responsibilities.
The Graduate Student Assistant for Program Development and Support Communications will assist with the development and execution of communications and creative content for LU ONE and its supporting offices. This position will create, edit, and publish digital and social media content; contribute to video and graphic projects; and support the day‑to‑day communications needs of the department. The Graduate Student Assistant will also provide leadership and direction to a team of CSER student workers, helping coordinate daily responsibilities and ensuring projects are completed effectively and on schedule.

The working environment in which one will typically perform the essential functions of this position is a climate‑controlled office setting. It is well‑lit, and the noise level is moderate.
If the employee is required to travel in performing the duties and responsibilities of the position, the use of one’s personal vehicle (or LU vehicles) may be required for travel. Proof of a valid driver’s license, an acceptable DMV record, LU Driving Approval, and liability insurance is required when driving in the performance of the employee’s position.
