Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. in Lafayette, IN, is seeking an in-office Communications Specialist to create employee content and plan internal programs.

You will track metrics, develop plans, and distribute materials across digital displays, emails, newsletters, and meetings, partnering with site leadership, HR, and operations to ensure consistent messaging. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint.
• Experience developing communication materials and presentations.
• Ability to build strong relationships across all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Multimedia Technologies: Knowledge of multimedia publishing technologies and procedures; ability to use installed audio, visual and animation software tools to produce multimedia publications.
• Work Schedule Flexibility: Ability to flex work schedule both early and late as necessary to support multiple shift operation.

Summary Pay Range

$89,210.00 - $133,810.00

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
