Overview
Our client is seeking a Communications Specialist to join their team. Primary focus of this role is event support and internal communications, not external-facing or red carpet events.
Responsibilities
- Manage internal communications employee-facing social posts on all relevant platforms
- Oversee development of creative concepts for internal workstreams, working in partnership with internal communications content production lead, creative marketing leads and visual communications team
- Develop strategy and engagement calendar of employee-facing programming to build and strengthen a culture, career opportunities
- Maintain internal engagement metrics database to facilitate the team in making strategic decisions
- Be responsible for project management coordination and team scheduling for major strategic engagements
- Coordinate with brand publicity leads and premiums team for ordering of show branded items and manage employee sweepstakes and giveaways
- Maintain multiple calendars that include planned editorial and events as well as tracks important events and initiatives of IC partners across the various business segments
Required Skills / Experience (Must-Haves)
- 3+ years of experience working on communications or marketing portfolios
- Event experience, ideally in the entertainment industry
- Strong administrative and organizational skills
- Flexibility and adaptability
- Exceptional written, oral, interpersonal and presentation skills
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
- Fluency in digital communication mediums and multi-channel communications strategies
- Deep experience with Microsoft Office suite, PowerPoint and/or Keynote
- Have basic knowledge of editing (graphics and video) and production to facilitate internal-facing activations and programming
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere and Photoshop) with knowledge of video file formats, creative storytelling
- Additional administrative work to support the success of the team, including bookings for larger meetings/events, executive scheduling, and ordering supplies
Preferred Skills / Experience (Nice-to-Haves)
- Canva and/or basic Adobe experience
- Basic layout/editing skills
- Salesforce familiarity is a plus but not required

Work Environment
- Location: Burbank, CA
- Work is largely during business hours; minimal overtime expected (one known evening event in July)
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay Range: The approximate pay range for this position is between $26.00 and $36.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
