Beltrami Electric Cooperative is seeking a highly skilled communications professional to manage the cooperative’s communications, public relations, community engagement, and member outreach programs. The role supports crisis communication efforts and key organizational events from an on-site location in Minnesota.

The candidate will lead content development, media relations, event planning, and community outreach while collaborating with internal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or certificate in communications or PR, or equivalent experience.
• 1–2 years’ experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.

This position is responsible for managing the cooperative's communications, public relations, community engagement, and member outreach programs while supporting crisis communication efforts and key organizational events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or certificate from college or technical school in communications, public relations, marketing or similar related field required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least one to two years’ experience preferred.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with internal teams, members, and community.

Compensation/Benefits

The starting hourly range for this position is $29.44 - $42.05. The final compensation offered will be based on the candidates’ qualifications, experience and skill level. Beltrami Electric Cooperative’s benefit package includes paid holidays, PTO and medical, dental, disability, life, FSA, HSA, and 401K.
