Qualifications

• Associate's degree in science or engineering.

• Experience inspecting communication and electronic equipment.
• Knowledge of industry guidelines, specifications, and relevant standards.
• For signal inspection, experience inspecting railroad or transit signaling equipment.
• In-depth knowledge of AREMA and other applicable industry specifications and standards.

Responsibilities

• Inspect communication and electronic equipment.
• Inspect amplifiers, boosters, network systems, and wireless communication systems.
• Inspect railroad and transit signaling equipment, including relays and signal components.
• Verify compliance with AREMA, Authority specifications, and applicable industry standards.

Salary Range: $116,052.63 To $137,543.86 Annually

About the Role

The Communication & Signal Inspector will perform inspections of communication, electronic, network, wireless, and railroad/transit signaling equipment. This role requires technical knowledge of communication systems, signal systems, electro-mechanical equipment, solid-state equipment, and relevant industry standards.

Minimum Qualifications
