Job summary

Markesman Group is seeking a Communications Lead to support bed-down efforts for IT and communications across multiple Air Force bases. The role involves designing, implementing, and ensuring secure system communications in coordination with host wings, HQ AFGSC, and DoD stakeholders.

Responsibilities include planning secure IT infrastructure, analyzing system status, and enforcing DoD/AF IT security requirements.

The work to be performed under this contract will be performed at Ellsworth AFB, SD, Dyess AFB, TX, and Whiteman AFB, MO.

The Communications Lead supports B-21 bed-down efforts by overseeing communications and IT infrastructure planning, implementation, and compliance. This role works across host wing, HQ AFGSC, and DoD stakeholders to ensure secure, compliant, and effective communication systems are established and maintained.

What You'll Do

• Ensure compliance with DoD and Air Force IT and security requirements
• Develop and implement system security plans and procedures
• Manage classified information systems and resolve security incidents
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure secure and timely system implementation

Required Experience

• 5+ years supporting classified information systems
• Experience with MLS or SAP network environments
• Experience with cross-domain solutions
• Information Systems Security Professional (or equivalent)

Preferred Experience

• DoD 8140 certifications
• Special Security Officer (SSO) experience
• Experience with SharePoint, databases, and network security tools
• Experience designing and maintaining secure network architectures
• Experience with VoIP and network segmentation
• Experience supporting NC3 or similar secure communications environments
