Job summary

Fervo Energy in Houston is hiring a Communications Intern to craft internal and external messaging, write and edit content, and support events. You’ll own a real project for 12 weeks, scoped with your manager on day one, and present your work to executives, department leads, and fellow interns at summer’s end.

Based at our Houston HQ, you’ll help tell Fervo’s story as geothermal energy gains attention, working alongside the Communications team to deliver concrete results.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Rising junior or senior or Master’s/MBA candidate wrapping up within the next year.
• Willingness to learn, take initiative, and adapt quickly to new challenges.

Responsibilities

• Support development of internal communications (newsletters, updates, announcements).
• Assist with social media content creation and scheduling.
• Help monitor media coverage and compile press summaries.
• Support preparation of materials for events, press engagements, and leadership communications.
• Assist with website and content updates as needed.
