Living Hope Community Church in Perkasie, PA is seeking a Communications Director to lead communications across campuses. This full-time role sets strategy, branding, and creative direction to share what God is doing and guide people to take next steps.

You’ll lead the Communications team, partner with church leadership, and oversee Sunday audio, video, and streaming, website, newsletters, and social media.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in communications, marketing, or creative leadership, ideally in a church or nonprofit setting.
• Strong writing, branding, and creative direction skills.
• Working knowledge of websites, email platforms, social media, and analytics.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead the church-wide communication strategy across channels.
• Lead and manage the Communications team, including design, video, and social media staff/volunteers.
• Steward and evolve Living Hope’s brand and visual identity across sermon series and campaigns.
• Partner with the Lead Pastor on church-wide communication and teaching series needs.
• Oversee the website, app, newsletters, and social media; use analytics to refine strategy.
• Gather and share stories of life change and community impact.
• Equip campus coordinators with clear processes and deadlines.
• Oversee Sunday audio, video, and streaming with tech teams and pastors.
• Keep messaging clear and avoid information overload.

Communications Director (Full-Time)

Pay: $55,000 to $70,000 per year, based on experience
Schedule: 40 hours per week

About the role

Living Hope Community Church is looking for a Communications Director to lead communications across all of our campuses. This person sets the strategy, branding, and creative direction that help people hear what God is doing at Living Hope and take their next steps in following Jesus. You’ll lead and project-manage the Communications team, partner closely with the Lead Pastor, Campus Pastors, and ministry leaders, and oversee Sunday audio, video, and streaming.

What you’ll do

• Develop and lead the church-wide communication strategy: what gets communicated, when, and through which channels
• Lead, develop, and project-manage the Communications team, including graphic design, video, and social media staff or contractors, plus volunteers
• Steward Living Hope’s brand and visual identity, and provide creative direction for sermon series, campaigns, and digital, print, and environmental pieces
• Partner with the Lead Pastor on church-wide communication and the visual and video needs of teaching series
• Oversee the website, app, email newsletters, and social media, and use engagement data to refine strategy
• Gather and share stories of life change and community impact
• Equip Campus Ministry Coordinators and ministry leaders with clear processes, timelines, and request deadlines
• Oversee Sunday audio, video, and streaming with the Campus Pastors and Worship Directors, including equipment care, production standards, and tech team training
• Keep messaging clear and focused so the church isn’t overloaded with communication

What we’re looking for

• A growing follower of Jesus who loves the local church
• 3 or more years of experience in communications, marketing, or creative leadership, ideally in a church or nonprofit setting
• Able to lead a creative team and manage several projects and deadlines at once
• Strong writing, branding, and creative direction skills
• Working knowledge of websites, email platforms, social media, and analytics
• Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, or a related field preferred
• Agrees with Living Hope’s Vision, Mission, Values, and Guiding Principles, and will follow the Employee Handbook and church Constitution
• Attends staff and campus meetings

Schedule

• 40 hours per week

Work environment

Mostly office work, using standard office equipment along with technology, media, and design tools. The role involves long stretches of sitting, standing, and walking, and lifting up to 25 pounds. You’ll need your own transportation between campuses when necessary.
