Job summary

Family Futures seeks a Communications and Development Intern to support programmatic communications, donor relations, project management, and database hygiene. The role includes social media content creation, promotion of our spring fundraiser, and outreach to engage the community.

This in-person internship runs Jan 4, 2027 to Apr 23, 2027 with a mandatory orientation. It is unpaid, but a $500 stipend is provided to assist with food, housing, and transportation costs, and college credit can be

Qualifications

• Current college student or recent graduate; able to work independently and with a team.
• Strong written and verbal communication, time management, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; ability to maintain confidentiality and detail-orientation.
• In-person availability for at least 15 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Support Communications and Fund Development Team with social media content creation and management.
• Assist with donor communications, event planning, and campaign analytics.
• Develop appeals and promote events through digital and print materials.
• Help coordinate upcoming events (e.g., Spring Fundraiser) and track outreach results.
