Wellnest in Los Angeles conducts communications and community outreach. The Communications Coordinator assists in planning and implementing integrated activities, supports events, and collaborates with marketing design and content teams for annual campaigns.
The role manages social media, creates graphics and copy in Canva, distributes email campaigns, maintains the WordPress site, and supports public affairs efforts and data reporting to advance Wellnest's mission.
The Communications Coordinator assists in planning and implementing integrated communications activities, conducts research and establishes data reports, supports community outreach and events, and coordinates with the marketing design and content for annual campaigns. The associate also monitors social media accounts and digital ads and supports the Vice President of Communications and Public Affairs with administrative tasks.
Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, marketing, or a related field from an accredited college or university. 3-5 year's of experience in a related field preferred. Must possess and maintain a valid CA driver’s license and insurable driving record.
Employee may be asked to pursue additional training when it is determined to be in the best interest of the Company. Employee must have the ability to use a personal vehicle with the required insurance coverage to complete the essential duties of their job and conduct agency business. Employee must maintain a valid California driver’s license and clean driving record that meets Wellnest’s insurance carrier’s criteria for liability coverage. In keeping with Company policy for all employees, the successful applicant must also complete a test for TB, and fingerprint clearance by the Department of Justice. Employee must agree to Wellnest's Arbitration Agreement as a condition of employment.
Employee regularly works in an office environment. Employee may be required to work flexible, evening and/or weekend hours for time-sensitive projects.
