KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Communications Coordinator is a key member of the Grace Church Communications Department, supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of ministry initiatives that strengthen brands, events, and engagement. This role works closely with a variety of ministry teams to help communicate their vision and goals effectively while fostering meaningful connections throughout the church.

  • Partner with ministry teams to plan, promote, and execute a wide range of communication campaigns and initiatives, supporting both small- and large-scale events and programs.
  • Develop and distribute weekly and monthly communications in collaboration with designated ministries - including email campaigns, newsletters, and other content.
  • Manage and maintain ministry presence across Grace’s website and mobile app, ensuring ministry content remains current, accurate, and engaging.
  • Collaborate with ministry leaders to plan and coordinate visual communication projects - including merchandise, displays, publications, and other branded materials.
  • Create, schedule, and publish digital content across ministry platforms - including social media channels, podcast platforms, and other digital outlets.
  • Coordinate internal communication efforts in partnership with the Communications Department to ensure clear, consistent messaging across the organization.
  • Monitor and evaluate communication effectiveness throughout the year, while overseeing the organization and management of ministry assets, including photography, teaching videos, and other digital content.
  • Uphold and maintain brand standards in collaboration with the Director of Communications.
  • Provide support to the Communications Department and assist with additional projects, responsibilities, and duties as assigned.
PROFESSIONAL AND SPIRITUAL EXPECTATIONS:
  • Experience required: 2 years+ of experience in Communications, Content Marketing or comparable position.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field preferred.
  • Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented multi-tasker who can see work through from concept to completion.
  • A strong knowledge of vocabulary, grammar, and nuances of the English language.
  • Ability to prioritize, multitask, manage, and assign projects based on workloads and skillsets.
  • Exhibits a meaningful and growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior as evidenced by the manifestation of the fruit of the Holy Spirit.
  • Exhibits a lifestyle appropriate to a person in public Christian ministry by conducting life with the utmost integrity in all situations.
