Answers patient information calls and transfers as appropriate.50%Initiates emergency pages and announcements via the pocket paging system and overhead public address system.5%Answers emergency Code Phone and is solely responsible for contacting medical/support personnel for the following emergencies: Code Blues, Traumas, Code Assists, Code Alerts, Code Adams, Utility Alerts and Weather Alerts and many more. Answers patient hotline for Riverside, Grant, Doctors and Dublin hospitals and dispatches appropriate staff ensuring response to patients. Also takes hospital complaint, initiates processes as needed.20%Maintains daily on-call schedules. Responsible for making accurate changes on occasion n in information for on-call personnel and calls in these on call persons as requested. Also takes after hours calls for clinical areas such as Hospice, answering service for Riverside Family Medicine, and more.10%On-call 24 hours night shift weekend rotating approx. every 3- 4 months. 2% Assists on special projects.
