Job summary

The Walsh Group is seeking a Common Laborer for the TCTX, Dart Trail Phase 2 project in Carrollton, TX. The role involves performing physical labor on commercial, industrial, or heavy civil sites and may operate hand and power tools as needed.

Responsibilities include site cleanup, scaffolding setup, debris removal and assisting with other duties as assigned. The ideal candidate can lift up to 50 lbs and pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Qualifications

• 1 year verifiable construction experience preferred
• Able to climb and maintain balance on scaffold/ladder
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs; may work in adverse weather conditions
• Must comply with all safety policies and procedures and communicate effectively with coworkers
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel or sit for long periods and have good manual dexterity
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening

The Common Laborer will perform tasks involving physical laborer on construction jobsites including commercial, industrial, or heavy civil projects; may operate hand and/or power tools as needed; may prepare site and assist with other duties as assigned.

• Ability to perform tasks including physical labor as instructed by supervisor
