The Housekeeping Department operates seven days a week. You will be assigned to an eight-hour shift, which includes weekdays, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs.

Additional Responsibilities Include
  • Performs general cleaning and upkeep of public areas, including stairwells, walkways, sales areas, lobby, and other common spaces, ensuring all areas are clean, safe, organized, and meets HGV brand standards at all times.
  • Maintains the cleanliness and presentation of high visibility areas such as the lobby, entrances, glass doors, and walkways, ensuring a consistently polished appearance.
  • Cleans and restocks public restrooms, fitness areas, and other shared spaces, ensuring supplies are replenished and spaces are guest ready throughout the day.
  • Maintains pool decks and surrounding areas, ensuring cleanliness, organization, and prompt reporting of any safety concerns or maintenance issues.
  • Identifies and reports maintenance needs or deficiencies in a timely manner to support overall property standards.
  • Greets guests with heartfelt hospitality and provides basic assistance or information regarding resort amenities and local attractions as needed.
  • Ensures trash areas are clean, organized, and properly maintained. Assists with replenishing amenities and supplies in public spaces.
  • Maintains carts, equipment, supplies and storage areas in a neat, safe, organized, and well stocked condition.
  • Observes and reports any safety hazards or unusual activity to ensure a safe environment for guests and team members.

  • Follows all safety procedures, key control protocols, and lost and found procedures.

  • Basic English communication skills to understand instructions and interact with guests and team members.
  • Ability to deliver cleaning services with attention to detail, professionalism, and care to meet established cleanliness and presentation standards.
  • Ability to follow procedures, manage time effectively, and complete tasks within assigned timeframes.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Ability to interact courteously with guests and respond appropriately to requests.
  • Ability to maintain professional grooming and appearance standards consistent with a luxury hospitality environment.
  • Ability to safely use cleaning equipment and chemicals in accordance with company standards.
  • Ability to repeatedly lift/carry, push/pull items more than 25 lbs.
It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ Years Related Experience
  • Prior time‑share housekeeping experience
