Our client is looking for a Commodities Manager who can build strong supplier partnerships, reduce costs, and secure continuity of supply. If you have plastics and chemical industry experience, especially with resins, TiO₂, carbon black, or additives, this is your chance to make a significant impact.

What You’ll Do

• Manage purchasing of raw materials, indirect materials, MRO, services, and equipment
• Develop and implement supplier and commodity strategies
• Negotiate contracts and lead supplier performance improvements
• Conduct market analysis and communicate cost drivers and trends
• Maintain accurate supplier records and pricing history
• Lead supplier audits, cost improvement workshops, and corrective actions
• Support budgeting, costing, and procurement KPIs

What You Bring

• 5+ years of procurement experience (plastics or chemical industry preferred)
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, Chemistry, or related field
• Strong knowledge of global supply chains and supplier management
• Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills
• Advanced computer skills (Microsoft Office, Power BI); Dynamics 365 experience an asset
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and travel as required
