Job Juncture is seeking a Commodity Manager to lead strategic sourcing for indirect materials and services with a focus on freight/logistics in a manufacturing setting. You will develop sourcing strategies, negotiate supplier agreements, and manage spend across multiple categories to drive measurable cost savings.

The role requires collaboration with plant stakeholders, strong negotiation skills, and a track record of delivering cost reductions through supplier management and strategic sourcing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 3+ years of procurement or commodity management experience in manufacturing.
• Freight sourcing experience preferred; other industrial commodities considered.
• Solid working knowledge of SAP.
• Strong negotiation and project management skills.
• Ability to build business cases and demonstrate cost reductions.

• Support broader purchasing initiatives and demonstrate measurable savings.

Our client is seeking a Commodity Manager to lead strategic sourcing, supplier management, and cost reduction for indirect materials and services in a manufacturing environment. Transportation services are a key focus, including air, ocean, rail, and inbound/outbound freight. Candidates with other relevant commodity experience are also encouraged to apply.
