Job summary

CNH Industrial America LLC in Oak Brook, IL seeks a Commodity Manager to develop sourcing strategies for Powertrain Controls and related components. Responsibilities include leading global cluster strategy, budget ownership, and cross-functional collaboration to align regional and global roadmaps.

You will drive cost-reduction initiatives, manage supplier relations, and monitor SSP execution while mitigating supply risks in NA regions. Telecommuting up to 3 days/wk.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 3+ years as a buyer or similar role.
• Experience with SAP Ariba or SAP S/4HANA MM and WIPS or equivalents.
• Experience with ENOVIA, WERS, Teamcenter and setting up automated workflows.
• Two years of experience with Power Platform tools (Power Automate, Power BI).
• PPAP, APQP, PFMEA, and DFMEA knowledge or experience.

Duties: The Commodity Manager at CNH Industrial America LLC in Oakbrook, IL will be responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies for Powertrain Controls and Thermal: Wire Harnesses, Battery Cables, Starters, Alternators, Fans, Engine Cooling and HVAC. Serving as theGlobal Cluster Leaderfor Engine Cooling/HVAC, managing global spend and strategy development in collaboration with regional teams. Lead the developmentof sourcing strategies for the North American region in coordination with global and regional stakeholders to ensure regional strategies are aligned with global sourcing roadmaps, product roadmaps, and footprint decisions. Own the financial budget for the commodity cluster. Monitor monthly progress and changes, ensuring accurate roll-up of results into commodity, regional, and global forecasts for both the Agriculture (AG) and Construction Equipment (CE) segments. Oversee the implementationof the Strategic Sourcing Program (SSP), ensuring alignment with the financial plan and timely execution. Drive consistentyear-over-year unit cost reductions in support of company strategic initiatives and competitively priced equipment in the marketplace. Lead the development and governanceof cost-reduction strategies, leveraging tools such as benchmarking, supplier negotiations, platform alignment, VA/VE, market testing, resourcing, supplier rationalization, and make/buy analysis in partnership with cross-functional teams. Set direction tosignificantly and meaningfully eliminate, avoid, or mitigate tariff expenses for both Tier 1 and Tier 2 tariffed parts. In coordination with Procurement and Supplier Development,oversee the identification and mitigationof supply chain risks, including capacity constraints, geopolitical factors, and other potential disruptions. Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key suppliers for the North American region andalign with the Global team to ensure unified strategic direction. Telecommuting permitted up to 3 days per week. Salary $162,698 - $200,375/year.

Minimum Requirements: Requires a bachelor’s degree in logistics engineering, electrical and electronic engineering, supply chain engineering or a directly related field plus 3 years of progressive experience as a Product Buyer or related occupation. The 3 years of experience must include 3 years of experience with each of the following: 1.) ERP systems including SAP Ariba, SAP S/4HANA Materials Management (MM), WIPS, or equivalent systems; 2.) Engineering tools including ENOVIA, WERS, or equivalent, and Teamcenter; 3.) Setting up automated workflows, and contributing to the continuous improvement of operational processes. Must include 2 years of experience with 1.) Microsoft Power Platforms, including Power Automate and Power BI; and 2.) PPAP, APQP, PFMEA, and DFMEA.
