Position Summary

The OMR Hardware Commissioning Technician supports Mobile Robotics (OMR) operations by performing precision installation, modification, and removal activities on robotic systems and existing infrastructure. This role involves hands-on technical work including drilling, magnet installation, epoxy application, and removal of legacy components. The technician works in a structured operational environment and must adhere to strict safety, quality, and operational standards while utilizing power and hand tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Drill holes into existing surfaces according to engineering specifications and safety guidelines
• Install magnets with precision and consistency
• Apply epoxy materials and finish surfaces flush with surrounding structures
• Remove detents, legacy systems, and obsolete hardware
• Safely operate power tools, hand tools, and vacuum equipment
• Perform surface preparation, cleanup, and debris removal
• Follow detailed work instructions, documentation, and quality standards
• Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and project personnel
• Maintain reliable attendance and complete work within scheduled timelines
• Support additional operational tasks as assigned
