Job summary

Integra Mission Critical, LLC. seeks a Commissioning Specialist to lead testing and validation of building automation and control systems. You will troubleshoot sensors, actuators, controllers, and networks, ensuring design specs and safety standards are met.

The role emphasizes hands-on commissioning, calibrations, and documentation, with collaboration across engineers, project managers, and clients to drive successful project turnovers and warranty support.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelors degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Controls engineering or related field or equivalent experience
• 2 years of experience in commissioning building automation or controls systems
• Proficiency with BAS platforms e.g. Siemens Johnson Controls Reliable Controls Honeywell or similar
• Strong understanding of PLCs HMIs VFDs and networking for control systems
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams schematics and technical manuals
• Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
• Familiarity with industry standards and codes ASHRAE NEC ISA ISO etc
• Excellent communication and client facing skills
• Willingness to travel frequently to project sites
• LEED Accredited Professional
• LEED AP Certified Commissioning Professional CCP or similar
• OSHA 1030 Safety Training
• BAS or Controls Manufacturer Certifications Siemens Johnson Controls Honeywell etc

Responsibilities

The Opportunity

This role focuses on commissioning testing and validating systems to ensure they perform to design specifications safety standards and client expectations. The ideal candidate is detail oriented hands on and skilled in troubleshooting with strong communication skills to work directly with clients contractors and project teams.
