Job summary

JC Automation Corp. is seeking a Commissioning & Qualification Scheduler to manage the integrated C&Q schedule and coordinate with the Project Integrator and project team. The role ensures document readiness, field execution, and alignment with the overall project timeline, escalating issues to keep the schedule on track.

The ideal candidate has experience in regulated environments, proficient in Primavera P6 and MS Project, and can communicate schedule risks clearly in weekly and monthly forums.

Qualifications

• Experience developing and maintaining integrated schedules for Commissioning & Qualification (C&Q) or comparable regulated project work.
• Proficiency with scheduling tools (Primavera P6 and/or MS Project) and schedule controls practices (baseline management, progress updates, forecasting).
• Ability to perform schedule impact analysis and communicate drivers/risks for C&Q reporting (weekly/monthly).

• Integrated Schedule Maintenance: Maintain the integrated C&Q schedule, covering plan, actual, and forecast status.
• Schedule Impact Analysis: Support schedule impact analysis for C&Q reporting.
• Cross-Phase Alignment: Align the C&Q schedule with document preparation and execution phases, and provide inputs for weekly and monthly forums.
• Issue Escalation: Escalate any concerns or issues that may be impacting the C&Q schedule.
• Project Integrator Coordination: Work closely with the Project Integrator to ensure latest updates on C&Q activities are captured and to stay current with changes in the overall project schedule.
• Schedule Scenario Analysis: Run schedule scenarios as needed and assess and communicate impacts to the C&Q schedule.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Commissioning & Qualification (C&Q) Scheduler is responsible for maintaining the integrated C&Q schedule and supporting schedule impact analysis for C&Q reporting. This role coordinates closely with the Project Integrator and the broader project team to keep C&Q activities aligned with document preparation, field execution, and the overall project schedule, escalating concerns as needed to keep the schedule on track.

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

Required

• Experience developing and maintaining integrated schedules for Commissioning & Qualification (C&Q) or comparable regulated project work.
• Proficiency with scheduling tools (e.g., Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project) and schedule controls practices (baseline management, progress updates, forecasting).
• Ability to perform schedule impact analysis and communicate drivers/risks for C&Q reporting (weekly/monthly).
• Strong coordination skills to align schedule with document readiness (protocols, test scripts, turnover packages) and field execution.
• Clear written and verbal communication; able to support forums and produce schedule visuals/metrics as needed.

Preferred

• Prior experience supporting CQV deliverables and turnover/handshake processes in GMP/regulated environments.
• Familiarity with progress measurement for C&Q (e.g., protocol readiness, execution, deviations/punchlist closure) and dashboard reporting.
• Experience working onsite and coordinating with construction, QA, engineering, and C&Q leads.
