Job summary

OnQCx is seeking a highly skilled Commissioning Manager to oversee the commissioning process for a hyperscale construction project. The role ensures all building systems (MEP and process equipment) are designed, installed, tested, and functioning per project requirements and industry standards.

Primarily on-site at construction projects, with some office work for reporting and documentation. Travel may be required depending on project locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering or construction field.
• 5+ years in commissioning or related large-scale projects.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and process systems.
• Experience with commissioning software and tools.
• Familiarity with LEED, ASHRAE, SEMI, or ISO standards is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement commissioning plans, checklists, and procedures to ensure compliance with project specs and industry standards.
• Coordinate with engineers, contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and clients to ensure correct and efficient commissioning.
• Oversee functional performance testing (FPT) for MEP and process systems.
• Identify, track, and resolve deficiencies before handover.
• Ensure commissioning activities align with industry standards (ASHRAE, LEED, SEMI).
• Maintain detailed commissioning logs and prepare final client reports.
• Conduct training sessions and provide documentation for operations and maintenance.
