With more than 500 years of collective experience, our team leads complex energy developments from inception through construction, bringing deep knowledge across engineering, real estate, business development, and finance while leveraging strong relationships with developers, owners, financial institutions, and property owners nationwide.

We are looking for a High Voltage / Commissioning Manager to support utility-scale renewable energy projects across the United States. In this role, you’ll oversee high-voltage and commissioning activities in the field, ensuring systems are executed safely, correctly, and in alignment with project scope, contract requirements, and commissioning plans. You’ll serve as a key onsite leader coordinating across EPC contractors, utilities, and internal teams to drive system reliability, quality, and successful project delivery.

What You’ll Do
  • Overseeing high-voltage and commissioning activities in alignment with project scope, contract requirements, and commissioning plans.
  • Reviewing and validating execution plans, including means and methods, schedules, safety protocols, environmental measures, and QA/QC procedures.
  • Monitoring field activities to ensure compliance, documentation accuracy, and quality standards are consistently met.
  • Conducting system reliability and quality checks for MET stations, SCADA systems, HV facilities, and utility interconnections.
  • Identifying deficiencies or non-conforming work and ensuring timely correction and documentation.
  • Tracking commissioning progress, milestones, and production metrics to ensure schedules are achieved.
  • Participating in weekly and monthly coordination meetings with clients, EPC partners, and internal teams.
  • Ensuring Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) procedures and safety protocols are properly implemented and followed.
  • Supporting daily commissioning coordination meetings across all disciplines and providing onsite walkthroughs for stakeholders as needed.
  • Coordinating with utilities for HV transmission and substation interconnections and managing related logistics such as transformer delivery and staging.
  • Collaborating with construction, engineering, and commissioning teams to ensure a unified execution approach.
  • Providing regular updates to leadership on project status, risks, milestones, and key achievements.
Who You Are
  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, renewable energy, or a related field.
  • Proven experience managing high-voltage systems and commissioning activities, ideally within renewable energy or utility-scale projects.
  • Strong understanding of HV systems, commissioning processes, and safety requirements.
  • Skilled in field coordination, quality inspections, and compliance oversight.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple workstreams onsite.
  • Strong communicator who collaborates effectively with EPC partners, utilities, clients, and internal teams.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Project, Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Adobe tools.
  • OSHA 30 certified or equivalent safety training.
  • Willing and able to travel 100% to project sites across the United States.
  • Able to work independently, make informed decisions, and adapt to changing project needs.
