  • Apply knowledge of test and balance procedures, field verification activities, and system operation to support validation of building system performance.
  • Apply knowledge of air distribution, central cooling plants, chilled water and condenser water distribution, central boiler and cogeneration plants, steam generation, hot water distribution, and related building systems.
  • Support troubleshooting efforts for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, building control, power, information technology, fire/life-safety, security, energy metering, sub-metering, and other low-voltage systems.

  • Perform project management duties to maintain project budget, deliverables, and client expectations.
  • Lead or support commissioning meetings and communicate critical project, technical, budget, manpower, deadline, political, or client-related issues to supervisors in a timely manner.
  • Bring items involving potential errors, omissions, or other legal exposure to the Project Manager and Principal-in-Charge.
  • Assist with organizing marketing data, identifying potential opportunities, informing the Project Manager or Principal when opportunities should be explored, and attending project interviews upon request.
