Nordstrom in The Woodlands, TX is hiring a Lingerie Salesperson focused on fashion, fit, and personalized service. You will conduct bra fittings, build a loyal customer base through in-store and digital channels, and deliver an exceptional shopping experience while meeting sales goals.

You will support housekeeping tasks, stay informed on trends, and participate in a team-driven, flexible schedule environment including evenings and weekends.

Lingerie, the ideal Lingerie Salesperson is passionate about fashion, fit and styling, understanding how these elements enhance customer confidence and comfort. They excel in building a loyal customer base through digital and in-store interactions, offering personalized experiences based on trust and fit expertise. Bra Fitting: Conduct bra fittings with customers in the fitting room by measuring for size and providing appropriate fit and style guidance. Nordstrom will provide training on the bra fitting process.

A day in the life…

• Build and grow a personal customer base through in-store interactions, outreach, and digital tools
• Offer honest, confident style and fit feedback that earns trust and drives loyalty
• Set and achieve personal sales goals, and stay accountable to results
• Keep the department customer-ready, including stocking, re-merchandising, price markdowns, merchandise recovery, and participate in bi-annual inventory count
• Stay current on product knowledge and trends to serve as a trusted style resource
• Show up for your team every shift, communicate openly, contribute to a positive team environment, and pitch in to help the department stay productive
• Able to commit to a flexible schedule to meet business needs, including evenings, weekends, and peak periods
• Follow Up - Build lasting relationships to drive predictable business by using the 2-2-2 Method (follow up 2 days, 2 weeks, and 2 months after a purchase), Nordy Club enrollment, and Personal Book (your tool for tracking customers so outreach feels personal)

Physical Requirements:

• Continuous movement for 6-8 hours per shift, which includes frequent bending, twisting, squatting, flexing and reaching in order to handle merchandise and assist customers.
• Frequent use of hands for grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling
• Handle bulky and sometimes awkwardly shaped items, which include reaching for and lifting these items above the head.
• Regularly lift items weighing up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds

Schedule

Hours vary by week based on business needs, including evenings, weekends, and holiday or event shifts. This role may also require occasional flexibility to support other departments.

Pay Range Details

The pay range(s) below has been provided in compliance with state specific laws. Pay ranges may be different for other locations.

Pay offers are dependent on the location, as well as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

$13.35 - $13.35 Hourly

At Nordstrom, the commission most selling employees receive varies based on the merchandise they sell. Apparel, shoes, and accessories sales typically range from 3% to 14.5%. The commission Beauty and Men’s Fragrance sales roles typically receive is 3%.
