In Kids Apparel & Shoes, you'll create a fun, welcoming shopping experience for parents, kids, and gift-shoppers alike. Build rapport, offer expert sizing guidance, and grow long-term relationships through follow-ups as children grow into their next sizes. Partner with expecting and new parents to help them navigate baby essentials, including shoes and baby gear.

Able to commit to a flexible schedule to meet business needs, including evenings, weekends, and peak periods Follow Up - Build lasting relationships to drive predictable business by using the 2-2-2 Method (follow up 2 days, 2 weeks, and 2 months after a purchase), Nordy Club enrollment, and Personal Book (your tool for tracking customers so outreach feels personal) You own this if you have… A genuine passion for fashion, styling, and customer experience A self-motivated, goal-oriented approach with a track record of hitting targets Strong communication and relationship-building skills with a wide range of customers A team-first mindset, looking for ways to help your teammates and department succeed Comfort with technology and digital selling tools The ability to prioritize and stay organized in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Flexibility to work varied hours based on business needs Physical Requirements: Continuous movement for 6-8 hours per shift, which includes frequent bending, twisting, squatting, flexing and reaching in order to handle merchandise and assist customers. Frequent use of hands for grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling Handle bulky and sometimes awkwardly shaped items, which include reaching for and lifting these items above the head. Regularly lift items weighing up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds Schedule Hours vary by week based on business needs, including evenings, weekends, and holiday or event shifts. This role may also require occasional flexibility to support other departments.

Pay Range Details

Pay ranges may be different for other locations. Pay offers are dependent on the location, as well as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. $13.50 - $13.50 Hourly At Nordstrom, the commission most selling employees receive varies based on the merchandise they sell. Apparel, shoes, and accessories sales typically range from 3% to 14.5%. The commission Beauty and Men’s Fragrance sales roles typically receive is 3%.
