Nordstrom, Inc. is seeking a Salesperson who loves fashion and styling and can grow a customer following both in-store and online. You will set sales goals, build lasting relationships, and deliver service on customers' terms. The role involves stock, merchandising, and occasional cross-department duties to stay department-ready.

You will open Nordstrom Rewards accounts and leverage social tools to meet targets, with hours that vary by week. Training and benefits accompany this position.

• Set and achieve sales goals, for both in-store anddigital selling with effectiveuse ofselling tools (inclusive oftextandsocial media)

• Seek fashion and product knowledge to build yourexpertise
• Work with the team to keep the departmentcustomerready, which meansfilling orders,stocking, re-merchandising, price markdowns, and lightcleaning
• Grow relationships by opening new Nordstrom Rewards programaccounts
• The hours and schedule for this position will vary by week depending on businessneeds
• This role may requireyouto be flexible to occasionally performing work/duties in a department other than the one you were hiredinto

Physical Requirements

• Continuous movement for 6-8 hours per shift, which includes frequent bending, twisting, squatting, flexing and reaching in order to handle merchandise and assist customers.
• Frequent use of hands for grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling
• Handle bulky and sometimes awkwardly shaped items, which includes reaching for and lifting these items above the head.
• Regularly lift items weighing up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds
• Frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds [Stock/Logistics Only]

Pay Range Details

Pay offers are dependent on the location, as well as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

$18.80 - $18.80 HourlyAt Nordstrom, the commission most selling employees receive varies based on the merchandise they sell. Apparel, shoes, and accessories sales typically range from 3% to 14.5%. The commission Beauty and Men’s Fragrance sales roles typically receive is 3%.
