Job summary

Mermaid AI is seeking an Independent Sales Representative to drive adoption of our Public Safety AI Radio in fire, police, and EMS agencies. This field-based role requires live demonstrations, field visits, and building relationships with chiefs and municipal decision-makers. Travel is required; compensation is 100% commission with all travel expenses covered.

No base salary. You will move opportunities through the full sales cycle and represent a breakthrough AI technology to real-world public

Responsibilities

• Visit firehouses, police departments, and public safety facilities to introduce Mermaid AI
• Conduct live, in-person demonstrations of our AI-powered radio solution
• Build relationships with chiefs, officers, and municipal decision-makers
• Identify opportunities and move deals through the full sales cycle
• Attend regional events, trainings, and industry meetups
• Act as the face of Mermaid AI in your territory
• Provide real-world feedback to help shape product evolution
