Job summary

Keefe Commissary Network is seeking a full-time on-site Warehouse Associate to join our correctional facility operation in Virginia. The role involves receiving and shelving product, selecting items for orders, and helping deliver them to facilities, while maintaining accurate inventory and planograms.

You'll work Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, report to the Operations Manager, and be part of a team that cross-trains across distribution departments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs
• Familiarity with computers preferred
• Data entry (Excel and Word experience is a plus)
• Retail, grocery or warehouse experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Unload, receive and put away product into the onsite warehouse
• Select product for individual orders and assist in delivery of orders
• Manage inventory, count product and correct inventory
• Inventory and maintain the planogram of vending machines at client facilities
• Maintain a clean workspace and surroundings
• Other responsibilities as determined by company needs

About This Position

Schedule:

Monday - Friday

7am - 3:30pm

This position is onsite located within a jail/correctional facility and you will work around inmates. You will report to the Operations Manager.

Developing teams and building careers are central to our success. This is a full-time position, with some benefits starting your first day. We expect our team to complete several processes and therefore believe in cross-training our team across the distribution departments. You can also specialize in a specific area.

The facility is an operational correctional facility servicing multiple businesses, with opportunities to:

• Unload, receive and put away product into the onsite warehouse.
• Select product for individual orders and assisting in the delivery of orders.
• Manage inventory to include counting product and correcting inventory.
• Inventory and maintaining the planogram of vending machines at client facilities.
• Take pride in your surroundings by helping maintain a clean workspace.
• Other responsibilities as determined by our needs.

Compensation

• Regular pay raises based on performance and experience levels
• Weekly pay, every Thursday
• Holiday Pay for company recognized holidays

What You'll Need

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to lift up to 70lbs.
• Familiarity with computers preferred.
