Job summary

Keefe Commissary Network is seeking an onsite Commissary Representative to support operations within a jail/correctional facility. You will work Monday through Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm, reporting to the Operations Manager.

Responsibilities include delivering products to canteens, maintaining inventories, and ensuring clean, compliant workspaces around inmates. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma (or GED), are at least 18, can lift 50 lbs, and are comfortable using computers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or related training.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and be physically capable.
• Familiarity with computers preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to canteens at correctional facilities under supervision.
• Assist onsite manager with monthly canteen inventories.
• Maintain cleanliness and comply with ACA & AJA standards when applicable.
• Attend security trainings and keep certifications current.
• Support stocking, merchandising, and basic IT tasks as needed.

About This Position

Schedule: Monday - Friday

Hours: 7:00am - 3:30pm

This position is onsite located within a jail/correctional facility and you will work around inmates. You will report to the Operations Manager.

The primary responsibility of a Commissary Representative is to help provide commissary operations and services to assigned location within a prison environment (position works directly with inmates).

Essential Functions/Main Responsibilities

• Deliver product to canteens at specified correctional facilities with the management of a correctional officer following all rules and regulations.
• Assist onsite manager with completion of monthly canteen inventories.
• Maintain all areas/equipment/products in a clean manner and maintaining American Correctional Association & American Jail Association standards when applicable.
• Attend training, annual on-site security classes and remain current in certifications.
• Take pride in your surroundings by helping maintain a clean workspace.
• Retail, warehouse or grocery experience preferred
• Stocking shelves/merchandising
• Must have good computer skills
• Other responsibilities as determined by our needs.

Compensation

Competitive pay
