Job summary

Keefe, a TKC Holdings Company, is seeking an on-site Warehouse Manager to oversee operations in a jail facility. You will lead a team of Warehouse Workers and inmate work crews, ensuring safe, compliant processes and timely product delivery to canteens.

This role reports to the District Manager and requires at least 1 year in a supervisory capacity, plus experience with warehouse equipment and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of management or supervisory experience in food, retail, or related environment.
• Previous warehouse management experience.
• Experience supervising the use and operation of a variety of warehouse equipment.
• Experience with safety procedures as applied to warehouse operations.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all aspects of warehouse operations.
• Initiate and maintain regular client contact to resolve operational concerns.
• Ensure team members are trained and perform safely and compliantly.
• Maintain appropriate product quantities on-hand for current needs.
• Manage warehouse operations in compliance with applicable laws and internal procedures.
• Maintain sanitary environment following health codes and regulations.
• Maintain onsite reports of daily and monthly financial, production, and productivity activity.
• Other duties as needed by the business.

About This Position

Schedule: Monday - Friday

Hours: 7:00am - 3:30pm

You will plan and direct the activities associated with a warehouse and delivering product to canteens. You will supervise a team of Warehouse Workers (when applicable) and Inmate Work Crews involved in receiving, staging, packing, and distributing Inmate Commissary products. You are the onsite management representative.

This position is located onsite within a jail/correctional facility and you will work around inmates. You will report to the District Manager.

Essential Functions/Main Responsibilities

• Responsible for all aspects of warehouse operations.
• Initiate and maintain regular, ongoing client contact according to pre-planned schedule to help with and resolve operational concerns.
• Ensure all team members are adequately trained and able to perform job responsibilities safely and compliant.
• Ensure you have the appropriate quantities of products on-hand for current needs.
• Manage Warehouse operation in compliance with internal procedures as needed by local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
• Maintain a sanitary environment following food service and Health Department codes and regulations.
• Maintain accurate onsite reports of daily and monthly financial, production, productivity, and financial activity.
• Other responsibilities as determined by our needs.

What You'll Need

• High school diploma or Equivalent, and you must be at least 18 years of age.
• Minimum one (1) year of management or supervisory experience in food, retail, or related environment.
• Previous warehouse management experience.
• Experience supervising the use and operation of a variety of warehouse equipment.
• Experience with managing high-volume, operations, service, and client relations.
• Experience with safety procedures as applied to warehouse operations.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
