Job summary

Courtesy Products, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Manager for an on-site role within a jail/correctional facility. You will plan and direct warehouse activities, supervise a team of workers and inmate crews, and act as the onsite management representative reporting to the District Manager.

The position operates Monday–Friday from 7:00am to 3:30pm, overseeing receiving, staging, packing, and distributing Commissary products while ensuring safety, compliance, and efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of management or supervisory experience in food, retail, or related environment.
• Experience supervising the use and operation of a variety of warehouse equipment.
• Experience with managing high-volume operations and client relations.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Plan and direct activities associated with a warehouse and delivering product to canteens.
• Supervise a team of Warehouse Workers and Inmate Work Crews as applicable.
• Ensure all team members are trained and able to perform responsibilities safely and compliantly.
• Maintain appropriate quantities of products on-hand for current needs.
• Ensure warehouse operations comply with internal procedures and applicable laws/regulations.
• Maintain a sanitary environment following Health Department codes and regulations.
• Maintain accurate onsite reports of daily and monthly financial, production, and productivity activity.
• Other responsibilities as determined by our needs.

About This Position

Schedule: Monday - Friday

Hours: 7:00am - 3:30pm

You will plan and direct the activities associated with a warehouse and delivering product to canteens. You will supervise a team of Warehouse Workers (when applicable) and Inmate Work Crews involved in receiving, staging, packing, and distributing Inmate Commissary products. You are the onsite management representative.

This position is located onsite within a jail/correctional facility and you will work around inmates. You will report to the District Manager.

Essential Functions/Main Responsibilities

• Responsible for all aspects of warehouse operations.
• Initiate and maintain regular, ongoing client contact according to pre-planned schedule to help with and resolve operational concerns.
• Ensure all team members are adequately trained and able to perform job responsibilities safely and compliant.
• Ensure you have the appropriate quantities of products on-hand for current needs.
• Manage Warehouse operation in compliance with internal procedures as needed by local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
• Maintain a sanitary environment following food service and Health Department codes and regulations.
• Maintain accurate onsite reports of daily and monthly financial, production, productivity, and financial activity.
• Other responsibilities as determined by our needs.

What You'll Need

• High school diploma or Equivalent, and you must be at least 18 years of age.
• Minimum one (1) year of management or supervisory experience in food, retail, or related environment.
• Previous warehouse management experience.
• Experience supervising the use and operation of a variety of warehouse equipment.
• Experience with managing high-volume, operations, service, and client relations.
• Experience with safety procedures as applied to warehouse operations.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
