About the Role

Electrolux is seeking a commercially minded and highly collaborative Commercialization Manager to support the Wellbeing & Small Domestic Appliances (SDA) business in North America. Reporting to the Vice President of Commercial, North America, this role will translate Product Line strategy into clear, executable commercialization plans that drive profitable growth, successful product launches, and strong marketplace execution. The Commercialization Manager will act as a day-to-day commercial integrator across Product Line, Sales, Finance, Pricing, Marketing, and Supply Chain. The role will combine business analytics, project leadership, and customer and channel planning to ensure new and existing portfolio initiatives are positioned for success. This is an individual contributor role with significant cross-functional influence and accountability for delivering high-quality recommendations, plans, and execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Commercialization Strategy & Business Support Translate the Wellbeing & SDA portfolio strategy into detailed commercialization plans, including product positioning, pricing recommendations, promotional approach, channel strategy, customer assortments, and launch sequencing.
  • Support delivery of budget, revenue, volume, mix, and profitability commitments through fact-based planning and disciplined execution.
  • Build business cases and scenario analyses for portfolio changes, pricing actions, and other growth initiatives.
  • Identify category and channel growth opportunities using consumer insights, market trends, competitive intelligence, and internal performance data.
  • Provide clear commercial recommendations to business leadership, highlighting opportunities, risks, trade-offs, and required decisions.
New Product Introduction & Launch Excellence

Lead the commercial workstream for new product introductions, from early business case development through launch readiness and post-launch evaluation. Partner with Product Line and cross-functional teams to define launch objectives, target customers and channels, assortment strategy, price architecture, volume assumptions, and execution milestones. Maintain integrated commercialization timelines, track dependencies, identify risks, and drive timely resolution of gaps that could affect launch performance. Develop launch toolkits and ensure Sales and customer-facing teams have the information, assets, samples, and business rationale required for effective sell-in. Conduct post-launch reviews, compare results with the approved business case, and recommend corrective actions or future improvements.

Customer, Channel & Sales Partnership

Serve as a commercial point of contact for Sales teams on the Wellbeing & SDA portfolio, providing category insights, product recommendations, and commercialization support. Support customer planning and line reviews by developing customer-specific assortment, pricing, promotion, placement, and launch recommendations. Partner with Sales to convert portfolio priorities into customer commitments while protecting brand positioning, profitable growth, and channel health. Prepare materials and analyses for customer conversations and participate in key meetings as appropriate. Monitor marketplace execution and work with Sales and other functions to address distribution, assortment, pricing, inventory, or promotional gaps.

Analytics, Performance Management & Communication

Track and report key commercial KPIs, including revenue, volume, price, mix, market share, distribution, launch performance, productivity, and profitability. Leverage point-of-sale, market, competitive, consumer, and internal financial data to identify insights and improve decisions. Create recurring business performance updates and communicate concise, action-oriented recommendations to functional and business leaders. Improve commercialization tools, routines, and reporting to strengthen visibility, accountability, and speed of execution. Maintain a structured view of key assumptions, decisions, risks, and actions across the portfolio.

Cross-Functional Leadership

Coordinate across Product Line, Sales, Finance, Pricing, Marketing, Supply Chain, Demand Planning, and other partners to align plans and resolve execution issues. Lead through influence in a matrixed environment, establishing clear roles, decisions, milestones, and follow-up without direct authority. Facilitate working sessions and decision forums that move commercialization initiatives from analysis to action. Build strong stakeholder relationships and promote a fact-based, consumer-focused, and accountable way of working.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in commercialization, sales, category management, merchandising, product management, commercial strategy, finance, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience exporting new product introductions and translating strategy into executable commercial plans.
Qualifications
  • Strong analytical and financial acumen, including experience with business cases, pricing, volume, mix, revenue, and profitability analysis.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple complex initiatives and deliver results through cross-functional teams in a matrixed organization.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint and comfort working with POS, syndicated market, and internal business reporting tools.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information into practical recommendations.
  • Experience in consumer durables, appliances, consumer electronics, home products, or another retail-driven industry.
  • Experience working with major retailers, e-commerce channels, distributors, or direct-to-consumer business models.
  • Working knowledge of assortment planning, promotional strategy, price architecture, demand planning, and launch management.
