Job summary

GE Appliances, a Haier company, invites rising sophomores and juniors to join its Year-Round Commercial Co-op program in Louisville, KY. You’ll work part-time (20–25 hrs/week) during Fall and Spring with possible summer hours, and gain exposure to leaders across Marketing, Sales and Owner Channel.

Qualified students must pursue a bachelor’s in business, marketing, sales or finance, maintain a 3.0 GPA, and graduate after May 2028. Housing/relocation are not provided.

Qualifications

• Must be a full-time student enrolled in a 4-year accredited college or university.
• GPA requirement of at least 3.0/4.0.
• Must graduate May 2028 or later and be enrolled through internship duration.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.
• Legal authorization to work in the country/region hiring is required. No visa sponsorship now or in future.

Responsibilities

• Part-time work 20–25 hours/week during Fall & Spring semesters, with potential for more hours in Summer.
• Interact with Commercial leaders and attend professional development sessions.
• Co-ops offer exposure to various Commercial teams (Sales, Marketing, Owner Channel, etc.).

The GE Appliances Commercial Year-Round Co-op Program provides students with the opportunity to work with experienced and inspiring leaders to accomplish business objectives in our Marketing, Sales, and Owner Channel organizations. This program offers part-time work experience (between 20-25 hrs/week) during Fall & Spring school semesters, with potential for increased hours in the Summer. Majority of positions are located in Louisville, KY; with limited remote opportunities. Upon strong performance, co-ops will have the ability to interview for a full-time position post-graduation in our Commercial Development Program.

Location

Commercial co-op assignments, generally year-long assignments, vary in terms of the types of work required. Team assignments may include: Retail or Contract National Account Sales, Direct Sales, Owner Channel, eCommerce, Lead Generation, Parts Sales, Marketing & Brand, Consumer Insights (data-analytics skills needed), Sales Operations, Training, Pricing Analytics, among other teams.

Skillset needed may vary by role; however, students must possess the following competencies to succeed:

Co-ops will have exposure to key Commercial leaders at GE Appliances as well as attend various professional development sessions.

As we continue to build out our talent pipeline, we are primarily looking for rising Sophomores and Juniors. This role does not offer housing or relocation benefits.

What You'll Bring to Our Team

Required Qualifications

• Must be a full-time student currently enrolled in a 4-year accredited college or university program pursuing a bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Sales, Finance or related field.
• Must hold and maintain a minimum 3.0 out of 4.0 overall grade point average.
• Must graduate May 2028 or later (must be enrolled throughout duration of internship).
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.
• Legal authorization to work in the country/region where the business is hiring is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas now, nor in the future, for this position.
