Job summary

A vehicle inspection service is seeking 1099 Independent Contractor Commercial Vehicle Field Inspectors across the United States. Compensation ranges from $35,000 to $75,000 per year, paid per inspection with mileage reimbursement. Qualifications

Beacon Inspections is searching for 1099 Independent Contractor Commercial Vehicle Field Inspectors in all US regions.

The ideal Independent Contractor will have experience as a diesel technician or in automotive repair industry and a knowledge of trucks, trailers, and equipment maintenance. Other common background includes auto inspectors, home inspectors, and insurance adjusters.

Required:

• 1099 Independent Contractor status
• Flexible Schedule (daylight hours, Monday - Friday)
• Comfortable working outdoors
• Access to a newer smartphone or tablet with sufficient data plan
• Access to a laptop/desktop computer
• Basic OBD II Scanner (if do not have we will provide)
• Reliable vehicle and a valid driver's license
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft and other web based software
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
