  • Prepare credit memoranda covering loan purpose, borrower background, financial analysis, collateral, risk factors, and recommended structure
  • Evaluate and value collateral, including real estate, business assets, equipment, and receivables/inventory; order and review appraisals, environmental reports, and title work
  • Assess industry, market, and management risk as part of the credit decision
  • Structure loan terms, including rate, term, covenants, guarantees, and collateral requirements
  • Present credit recommendations to loan committee or management per authority limits
  • Monitor covenants, reporting requirements, and risk ratings post-closing
  • Partner with loan officers and closing staff to keep processing timely and accurate
  • Maintain audit-ready files and stay current on regulatory and industry changes
What You Bring

  • Formal credit training (RMA or similar) a plus
Preferred
  • Strong background in commercial real estate and C&I lending
  • Experience with SBA, real estate, construction, or agricultural lending
