Ring's End, Inc. in Darien, CT is hiring a full-time Commercial Truck Driver to deliver building materials across Fairfield and nearby New Haven counties. This role requires independent work and reliable on-time service.

You will load and unload, verify deliveries, keep up with paperwork, and represent the company with professionalism at every stop. CDL-B license and clean driving record are required.

Qualifications

• Product knowledge of building materials is preferred.
• Ability to meet physical requirements including lifting items or operating a forklift.
• CDL Class B license and a clean driving record are required.
• Compliance with all safety and Department of Transportation rules and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver building materials to customers on designated routes in Fairfield and New Haven counties.
• Load and unload materials, verify accuracy of deliveries, and ensure items are handled carefully.
• Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and communicate any issues to customers and supervisors.
• Represent Ring's End, Inc. professionally at every stop and inspect vehicle safety.

A DAY IN THE LIFE AS A COMMERCIAL TRUCK DRIVER

You are the hero that transports our building materials in a timely manner along your designated route. You are our ambassadors as you also check-in with our clients on their experience with our service and handle any and all concerns with care. You load or unload building materials carefully, making sure the clients' items are kept intact. You ensure each delivery to the correct destination, as well as positively represent us at each stop. You are conscientious about keeping all necessary paperwork up-to-date and keeping vehicles and equipment maintained. And, of course, you are a competent and dependable driver who navigates the roads with the utmost concern to those around you. At the end of each shift, you feel accomplished and satisfied that you provide a courteous delivery to the customers we serve.
