Job summary

Epiq Counsel is building relationships with top legal talent for upcoming engagements with corporate law departments and other leading organizations. We seek experienced Commercial Transactions & Real Estate Attorneys to join our network for flexible engagements across diverse industries.

Ideal candidates have 5–10+ years of relevant experience, strong drafting and negotiation skills, and a client-service mindset.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership in good standing.
• 5-10+ years of relevant experience in commercial transactions, real estate transactions, leasing, acquisitions, and related commercial contracting matters.
• Demonstrated experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating purchase and sale agreements, lease agreements, easements, vendor contracts, professional services agreements, and other commercial agreements.
• Strong ability to work within established templates and playbooks while efficiently managing a high-volume transactional workload.
• Experience partnering with business, procurement, facilities, finance, and operational stakeholders in a business-facing legal role.
• Experience conducting legal due diligence and managing transaction closings.
• Strong issue-spotting, risk assessment, negotiation, and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, lease agreements, and other commercial contracts.
• Support clients by coordinating with business teams and stakeholders during transactions.
• Assist in due diligence and transaction closings, ensuring compliance and risk mitigation.
