Job summary

Snider Fleet Solutions in Columbia, SC is seeking an In-Shop Commercial Tire Technician to oversee safe, efficient daily warehouse operations, including mounting and dismounting tires and assisting the Warehouse Supervisor with inventory and shipments.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of tire experience, a clean driving record, and the ability to pass background checks and drug screens. Forklift certification and Commercial TIA certification are strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of tire experience
• Proficient in MS Office and able to learn other software
• Commercial TIA certification (strongly preferred)
• Forklift Certification (or ability to obtain following employment)

Responsibilities

• Mount and dismount various sized commercial tires using mount/dismount machine and tools
• Accurately load and unload tire shipments; assist Warehouse Supervisor
• Assist with warehouse inventory efficiency and monthly audits
• Ensure warehouse space is utilized efficiently
• Write up and barcode tires into BibTread system
• Assist with scrap analysis for Snider customers
• In charge of wheels submitted for reconditioning
• Run monthly retread reports
• May assist route driver with pickups/deliveries
• Maintain organization, inventory, and cleanliness of warehouse
• Follow safety rules and wear PPE
• Demonstrate punctuality and adherence to company policies
